The reason I write about the Celtics is because they are just about the most historic team in the NBA. They have a record of 17 NBA Championships. They won 8 titles in a row back when Bill Russell was playing in the 60s.
Right now they are in first in the East standings. Thier rival the LA Lakers are in first in the West. The celtics starting lineup includes Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Kendrick Perkins.
The celtics struggled this decade. Until 2007 when they picked up Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. That year they won the NBA championship.
