For year the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers have been rivals. These two teams absolutely hate each other. They are usually the two best teams in the league.
The Celtics and Lakers have met in the NBA Finals 11 times with the Celtics winning 9 of them.
They met 7 times in the 60s, three in the 80s, and once in 2007. The rivalry died out in the 90s.
The rivalry became reborn in 2007 when the Celtics became good again. The Celtics beat the Lakers in the 2007 NBA Finals. So now the rivalry is still going on and they are both fighting to be the best again
